Sean M. Smith
My journey blending music and art into a lifelong career began during my study abroad at Royalty Studios, College of Art in London. Since then, I’ve collaborated with nearly every major music label — and plenty of the obscure ones, too. At RCA, Capitol, and Virgin Records, I helped shape the visual worlds of artists like Lenny Kravitz, the Rolling Stones, Iggy Pop, Christina Aguilera, and Jared Leto — overseeing everything from campaigns and merchandise to packaging, styling, stage, and environmental design.
As the music industry evolved, I founded my own design studio — expanding beyond music to build brands and experiences across industries. From luxury and lifestyle to tech and healthcare, I’ve led creative for global names including Rémy Martin, Sephora, Ford, Kiehl’s, GE, Pfizer, Abbott, and ESPN. My work has been recognized by Communication Arts and Archive, honored with awards, and even featured in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. I’m also a proud annual judge and active member of the Grammys, continuing to stay deeply connected to the creative community that started it all.
